Disclaimer
This is more of a FYI type thing than an actually disclaimer, but still, it ought to be said.
This is my personal site and blog. I may or may not discuss things that are totally irrelevant to how I present myself in a professional capacity, despite whatever programming- or work-related topics that may come up. I am of the opinion that we are all entitled to our personal space on the web without having to censor ourselves for fear that our thoughts, ramblings, or personal lives might become a detriment to our careers because a voyeuristic someone wasn’t appreciative of things that were not particularly their concern to begin with. To be plain: if you are looking to interact with me in a professional capacity but are less inclined because of my blog (or facebook, etc), then I am not interested. The distinction between personal and professional lives is important; please respect that.
Moreover, I may or may not write in a way that uses profanity, crude imagery, dark humor, abundant cynicism, or poor metaphors (that last one is especially likely). This blog isn’t for anyone who is overly sensitive or dense (both of which come with their own set of problems). If you like it, awesome; if not, I apologize.
